Son Light Christian Center

I got saved in June 1989. I had been in California for one day I got saved playing the board game Risk that was on a Friday on that Sunday I got baptised. That Sunday by Pastor Joe. I love this church. I went to church everytime it was open. I volunteered for everything. Went for at least a year became a salesman for a Christian company. I was a minimum wage worker prior to God giving me a life and a career. I have recruited trained and managed over 2000 sales people between 2003 and 2010.
I traveled home to Chicago for my grand mother's funeral. I desided to move back to Chicago to marry my ex girl friend. I realized after that first year I had to get married well I moved back and 7 months later I married a completely different lady I was 21 and she was 33 from the outside it didn't look like a good fit.z Her husband died several years before. Well she got saved in her kitchen with me and she was a friend of my aunts. God had a plan I needed to get married because temptation was unbelievable. We have been married for 32 years. We had 2 kids. My life has been better a miracle I had an 8 the grade education.
I built a company in 47 months I employed about 79 people I started the company with six thousand dollars I sold the business for over a million dollars 47 months later.Hiw only God could have doith e is unbelievable. Pastor Joe gave me a good foundation and a code to live by with rules and making decisions based on right and wrong. God put Pastor Joe in Son light to changed my thinking and to be an example of how 8 am supposed to carry myself. He didn't know it but I studied him from a distant. He knew what he knew and that was the deal God is not open for debate. I returned about 7 or 8 years ago and went to a mens Bible study. I talked to pastor Joe and he didn't remember me. I look so much different if I had a picture from 1989 he would have said i remember. It's great that everyone always loud and brash. So the fact I was so well behaved I never made a scene. I attended Son Light starting at the age of 5. I am almost 41 and life has moved me to the other side of the country. But I can say, I still have friends there, I still have contact with some of my childhood youth group friends and I have yet to find a place of worship like Son Light. The ministry is right on. Pastor Joe Magliato is the exact same man off stage as he is on stage. His wife and their children all live their lives with what they preach. this is a solid ministry. I miss them greatly. This is the ministry that is truly unconditionally unconditional. Come as you are, you are valid, you are valuable, you are desired, you are deeply loved. I was truly saved in Son Light.

Love sonlight raised all my kids here now there grown & have fond memories of the love & kindness they received here, infact they dont want to go to any other church, i had moved away & stopped going for a good 6 years but the good lord brought me & my kids back as for the commentor that its a rasist church so not true im of mixed race & never got that indication. One bad person or experience doesnt make it a racist church infact all different races go to son light. Family based & owned church with lots of history, what a blessing!
