Gachi House Of Sushi

Our flight was delayed and we ended up getting dinner at Gachi Sushi and Noodle. I was feeling cold so we decided to go for some ramen. I wasn't expecting much, after all it was airport food... The ramen came out pretty quickly and when I tasted the milky broth I was blown away, this broth had definitely been cooked for a long time and was very flavorful. The pork was also cooked nicely though the portion was a little smaller than other ramen places where we've dined before but that is expected. I didn't mind this since I usually can't finish half of my ramen anyway. This portion was perfect, and the broth and ramen kept me warm and full. Definitely one of the better options in this terminal.

Very good sushi. Southern roll was my favorite.

Gachi served up one of the most adorable (and delicious) meals I have ever eaten. This little restaurant is solid gold. Good selection of preprepared sushi and teriyaki bowls if you're in a hurry. If you're not - especially if you're waiting on a long delayed flight like me - do yourself a favor and sit down, take it slow, and savor your meal.

I can solidly recommend the Bento Box (the cutest sampler plate ever) and the gyoza (filled dumplings). The Bento Box was full of solid food, with each item equally good. The flavor of the teriyaki chicken was unbelievable. The gyoza were an exceptional blend of soft and crispy with a very good taste.

I'll be heading straight to Gachi next time I am in PHL!
