Mission Beach Surfing School

My 7 year old (with no previous surfing experience) was catching waves literally within the first hour of his day at camp. I couldn’t believe it. Our instructor was patient and kind with our wild child. Highly recommend!

Renato was a great instructor. He was super good instructing my 10 year old son who had never tried surfing. Renato was personable, funny, very supportive, and just an all around great teacher. I wasn’t sure if my son would be able to get up on the board but he was within 4 or 5 tries, and then learned some additional techniques. Highly recommend.

Renato was awesome! He got us started with the basics on the sand and then got us right into the water to practice. He helped us all the way through and everyone in our group of 5 got up on the board (multiple times too)!! We had a great time and look forward to getting back out there soon.

We did a private group lesson with Erik. Erik was amazing with our group. He was patient with our little ones, and was great at correcting our approach and understanding of the waves. The kids and I had so much fun surfing. I highly recommend Erik and Pacific Surf School!

A big shout out to the instructors Renaldo and Fiona for helping my son learn to surf. He wanted to quit after the first couple of days, but Renaldo and Fiona kept working with him and he was standing up on day 3 and actually looked forward to surfing by day 5. Thank you both for all your efforts and making my son's experience enjoyable.
