Bowenwork

I have been treated with Bowenwork Therapy with Cindy Litch for many years. Several days ago, the extraordinary effectiveness of this therapy was on full display.

Day 1: I tripped and slammed my right knee into hardwood flooring, then fell to the left and sprained my right ankle. In spite of immediate icing and a trip to the ER for x-rays, it soon became apparent that I could not put any weight on my right leg, even with a walker. Frankly, it was agony.

Day 2: Cindy Litch performed several Bowen Therapy procedures on my back, knee and ankle in the afternoon. I then stayed off my leg, took anti-inflams and rested the injury for the rest of the evening..

Day 3: Upon waking up, I tried to stand up. To my amazement, there was very little pain. I tried walking and I was truly in disbelief that while yesterday I could not walk, today, there was little evidence of an injury at all.

Day 4: I was able to go to the movies and out to dinner with no issues!

Bowenwork is a treatment modality that must be experienced to be understood. In my humble opinion, every physical therapist should be required to be trained in this modality. Cindy, I can't thank you enough for your expertise and effectiveness!
