Dr. Kothari is both extremely skilled and personable, which to me are two traits that are sometimes very hard to find in the medical field. She is detailed oriented and persistent making sure that the right diagnosis has been made and correct treatment underway. You cannot find a better ophthalmologist.
I feel so lucky that I stumbled upon Dr. Kothari's practice through colleague's recommendation. She is a rare combination in a physician - the kind of doctor who simultaneously puts you completely at ease through her gentle demeanor while also inspiring total confidence with her expertise. I've had the dubious distinction of having to see her regularly for two different unlucky eye ailments and each time I attend an appointment, it's clear I could not be in better hands. The only downside is that it's created an impossible bar for my other interactions with the medical system to meet!
Dr Kothari is amazing! She calm and flexible and has squeezed us in last minute for emergencies. My son got hit with a tennis racquet in the eye on his birthday and she, not only, saw us last minute but patiently and skillfully helped him calm down enough to open his eye so she could get a good look, saw a small cut on his cornea, gave us some antibiotic ointment and he was back at school in 1 hour ready to celebrate the rest of his birthday!
