(May 1, 2021, 4:03 pm)The policy of uniform, flush-to-ground headstones is wonderful. Having visited family plots at Westlawn to grieve...the crowded headstones are a distraction....almost like visiting someone in jail.
The open space at Shalom allows one to pray and grieve at a family member's plot...without so much distraction.
Don't know who pioneered this policy, but thank you. -

(August 16, 2016, 10:15 am)My experience with the staff at Shalom was excellent. They are a caring group of professionals who helped make my Mother's funeral go smoothly, taking any undue pressure off of me and my family. We were able to lay my Mom down in peace and with respect for all of us.
