Casamigos Tex-Mex

Food was great. This location has been several different restaurants but this one has the best food so far. Decorations & drinks are impressive, good kid menu. Go support this little neighborhood business so we can keep it around!

Glad we found this place recently after we really were sad to see Torchy’s going downhill quickly in value for us. This is an unpretentious, efficient Mexican restaurant offering tasty food with decent portions and good value. You can sit down and eat both inside and outside the restaurant but there seems to be a lot of takeaway/delivery orders when we were there. We ordered Bang Bang Shrimp and Vegetable Tacos, Veggie Quesadilla, Chips and Queso. I was a bit surprised that Mexican rice was not included with our quesadilla plate. The queso was good but nothing to write home about - I have had better. The prices are very decent (reminds me of what Torchy’s used to be).

Drool, if you ever find yourself making your way into Leander, Casamigos is a great stop for some yummy burritos, tacos, flautas and more. It was a balmy 30 degrees and rainy when we stopped in today, but you would never know it with how warm and cozy it was inside. The interior decor is SO fun and although there's a few tables inside, on a nice summery day, I can totally see the appeal of sitting out and dining with each other.

Our order was fast, the guy was super helpful and we ordered a few different items, my favorite being the fish taco on corn tortillas. I can't wait to stop by again when we need to swing by for some good eats and want it fast. TV's had sports on so if you're looking for entertainment, they've got it!

Nice, clean restaurant. Playing Mexican music, with Mexican celebrity music singer art work on the walls. Employees are friendly and attentive. The Mexican street corn was unedible. The menus says they use chili powder, but instead they use tajain and a lot of it. My daughter thought the dish was rancid, it was so bad. FYI, they do not have chili powder in the building. I also got three different tacos. They were ok, but nothing to write home about. Not a good experience, but not a bad one either. Will not be going back.
