I recently moved into a new townhouse in North Miami Beach, and the home came “pre-wired” for smart home technology (I had no idea what this meant). We talked about options for thermostat controls, motion sensor lighting, increased Wi-Fi strength (as I had some dead spots), and even a way to have pre-set buttons on a control pad that would be set to my preferences. It would put the temperature where I like it, turn on my favorite Sirius station and modify the lighting. I was sold!
