It’s the little things that make a world of difference. I called at 4pm asking if they had any tres leches cakes left for the evening. Celebrating with my family and my sister loves their tres leches. They had 4 left and put one aside for me. I got there at 5:50pm and the other 3 were already taken but mine was marked and waiting.
They even had a change of shift and made sure to communicate it.
