RENERGY Solar & Energy Storage Systems

My husband and I contacted Renergy Solar mid-May 2022 after dealing with another solar provider. We wanted to get more than one quote. We told them we were interested in a Generac Solar Backup system. They did not try to sell us any other system, nor did they hound us with frequent sales calls and pressure as the other company we contacted did. After asking many questions, we signed a contract with Renergy on June 19th, 2022. It took the summer and part of the fall for the engineering plan, permits, inspections etc. Installation began on or about October 27th. The installers, electricians and onsite engineer were top notch in my opinion and had a strong work ethic often working beyond the typical 9 to 5. Our system was finished and passed inspection mid-November 2022. We had a few issues that required a new part in the battery cabinet and a communication issue with the inverter and most of that was resolved in early December. Renergy is responsive to our emails/calls. As for Generac Customer Service, it took them 6 days to respond to a problem I inquired about in January 2023 and stated that I should contact the installer. I would recommend Renergy for anyone considering a Solar installation. As far as the Generac System goes, I think the product will work out okay, but their customer service is lacking.

First of all, you can really count on this company to install a good system that really works. They will work with you extensively in the beginning to set up an engineering plan and to help you to understand the science and what you need. We learned a great deal in the process and we even visited other work sites in order to feel comfortable. We also reached out to three previous happy customers who gave us positive reviews. Our research period was extensive and they engaged with us and were patient. The only reason we didn't give 5 stars was due to a cosmetic issue with the color of the frame around the panels that we weren't aware of until after installation (aluminum color and not matte brown to match roof). Lastly as a final word of praise I will say that we have had ongoing issues with the city metering system over billing us due to a supply chain shortage with the 2 way meters. Even months after the work is complete Gary will engage with you and with the city and try to help out with any technical issues. He is committed to a long term customer relationship and you can count on him to show up, answer the phone, and follow through. It has been several months and our system continues to be excellent and run well every day.

RENERGY is unique. They are about selling and installing a quality solar energy system and not about financing, hard sell, etc. They have a science-based approach.Their knowledge of homeowner needs seems to be the most important aspect of their business. They have excellent knowledge of the local utilities and take care of all aspects of the installation and after-install customer service.

Renergy was great to work worth. They were not pushy or rushed me to make a choice of how many panels I wanted. Also, the best part about using them, they helped my removed my old panels on my old house, patched the roof, and reinstalled them on my new house. I also found out it was cheaper to add more panels to my new house along with my older panels. I went from 20 to 39 panels. They were helpful in the design processes as well. They wanted to install the they wall equipment in a location we didn’t want and they helped with finding a solution we needed.
I would suggest them to anyone to use.

Renergy Solar, LLC has distinguished themselves from the competition. I am very satisfied with the experience and process that Gary Gonzales and his team have provided. His focus from the beginning was to educate us on the process; product and development not just sell this product. There is an option for every financial situation. You choose what may be best for you and your budget. The price per watt was an important piece of this decision and it was very competitive where we are very satisfied. The communication we received on the project activities was clear and concise. Step by step notices on project activities was very helpful and self-assuring. I see the investment paying off on a monthly basis. I don’t always give reviews but this review is warranted. I highly recommend Renergy Solar, LLC. Job well done!!!
