I’ve had the best experience with Jen over the past year! I came to her as someone trying to find herself after being completely burnt out and stressed out nurse. She has taking so much time and energy into making sure I find my true voice and give me confidence in the talent I never knew I had. She’s truly one of a kind and I could not be more thankful for her!

I’ve been working with Jen for over two years and she’s easily one of the most talented, vocalists, kindest people, and best coaches I’ve ever worked with. Not only have, I improved my singing, tenfold after years of lessons, but I’ve also seen improvements with my persistent, asthma, anxiety, and tension. Cannot recommend singing and relax enough.

My journey with Jen began early last spring when I wanted to dive into piano playing. Through our initial phone call, I hummed a note that Jen immediately noted was in relatively perfect pitch. From that point, she thought to implement singing into my piano lessons. Boy am I grateful she did - now all I want to do is sing! She truly "unleashed my heart" & brought upon a more confidence in not only my singing, but my attitude about life! Beyond that, through her teaching style, she's inspired me to incorporate more colors in many walks of life. Color association is a very basic concept that adults gloss over, yet we learn best when the teaching is simplified! Jen brings out the fun in coaching & allows us to embrace our own individual style! I have developed a strong relationship with Jen & encourage others who love to sing, but may have any anxieties/fears to consider this studio to begin their journey!

Where to start? Jen is a great music teacher. She knows her stuff. I have grown a ton musically during my time at sing and relax, which has been a little over 6 months now. I did not have the confidence to sing and relax, or rather learn and play music while being relaxed and immersed in the music I was playing. I’ve never felt so happy carrying a song on guitar, bass, piano, and with my voice. I have come a long way. I’m starting to believe I have something unique to offer musically.

Jen is a people person. She is a good friend. She cares for her students. She is constantly changing and adapting with the world around her, and that carries over to her relationships with her students and I imagine, everyone else. Jen is a very positive person. She is helping me find myself creatively and takes whatever I throw at her in stride. Jen is a light and I’m excited to be a part of her mission. She inspires me to be a bigger help to my community in the ways only I can.
