I took the NRA Basic of Pistol Shooting class, absolutely fun. Carl is knowledgeable and creative when explaining information on all levels about the subject. His simulator is fun and helps with the class. I had a great time and would take any other class at Hirts Defensive Solutions.

Mr. Hirt runs a great class. Lots of interactivity, plenty of time for questions, and tremendously knowledgeable about firearms. Took the Basic Pistol class here. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased a new handgun after not handling one in 25yrs. I reached out to Carl as my goal was not only become familiar with the gun but take the necessary steps to become proficient in using it. Carl did a great job in helping me become comfortable and very familiar with my guns use. He definitely help me improve my ability in a short period of time.
