The Glass Place

My husband and I just completed the beginners class for stained glass. Ruth and crew made it such an enjoyable experience. The project tuned out way better than I expected going in with no experience. We will definitely be taking additional classes and making purchases at the fully stocked store.

The Glass place is little gem tucked inside of Washington County. Ruth Mahoney (owner), has made sure that she has everything that you need to completely make beautiful glass art. Tools, stunning sheets of glass, materials, solder, and most importantly Ruth's knowledge are available at The Glass Place. I have taken 3 classes so far and look forward to more. Take a class you wont be disappointed and may just find your new favorite hobby.

I took the into to fusing class and had a wonderful time! Ruth is an amazing instructor that took the time to explain all the details and make sure everyone left with beautiful pieces. I have never done glass fusing before and it is addicting. I then took a jewelry fusing class and I made the heart. I definitely will be taking more classes. If you are thinking about taking classes this is the place to go.

The staff is very friendly and helpful! I’m beginning to get started with mosaics and Tina even gave me a free lesson in cutting and shaping tile. She answered all of my questions and the whole crew there knows their stuff and is happy to share their knowledge.
