James River Equipment

I have been going to James River Equipment for some time for equipment needs and repairs. Some of my lawn equipment is older and needs more TLC. Over this time, I have had the good fortune of working with Tracie Winstead. She is terrific. Not only professional, but, more times than not, exceeds my expectations on the timeline of completion. I highly recommend James River Equipment, located in Chester, VA., for all your lawn equipment service needs.

I purchased a zero turn from the Chester store and couldn’t have been more pleased with the staff. Tim and Cliff are very knowledgeable and got me pointed in the right direction. We ordered the mower I wanted and they were able to get it in quicker than I expected. The staff in Chester were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. Did I mention the free John Deere hat? Chose the pink one for my wife. That made her happy which is a win win for me.

This place is great! My prayer time was quickly arriving while I was shopping and this nice young man (Robert, I believe) offered to hold all of my things to the side until I returned. I fully expected everything to have been re-stocked when I got back, but he was true to his word. He helped me with the rest of my purchase and got me out the door and on my way just as quick.
The store was clean and well organized and had everything I needed for my tractors maintenance. Two thumbs up!!
