Jerry and the rest of the team at Peak Bike shop understand customer service and have real cycling expertise to back it up. I took my outdated Schwinn in for a new shifter. This old thing probably isn’t worth the time to repair or effort to source replacement parts. That didn’t stop Jerry from scouring the web and his bike pile to find a replacement for a discontinued 5 gear shifter and rear derailed. He never gave up on the project and honored his original quote despite going above and beyond to make sure I was able to get back on the road. Love this shop and will be a loyal customer moving forward!

Rented some mountain bikes to hit the trails by Cunningham park and the service was great. Easy pick up and the folks at the shop were super nice - shoutout to Joani

Despite puncture-resistant tires, I had a flat (thanks to all the broken glass on the bike trails/NYC streets) on Labor Day and brought my bike in on Wednesday morning after calling to check. They said "sure, that's quick, we'll fix that while you wait" so I tossed it in the back of my vehicle and drove over. I ended up having both front and back tubes replaced and some new grips installed while I drank a coffee outside. I was treated well and that the store was not at all vibey, which is not an endearing feeling. I'll definitely be going back as I need more things fixed. If I had space for a second bike, I'd certainly consider getting it there.

I have been back and got a bunch of maintenance done to my bike and one of my girlfriend's bikes. The work was done quickly and well. Highly recommended.

I was so happy to find this shop close to where I live in Great Neck. As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted with compassion and asked what I was interested in and accompanied with suggestions to my needs. I needed MTB shorts with a set of gloves for a first time rider. The customer service was two to one and I felt immediately welcomed to their place of expertise. Also - The two guys working on the bikes and chatting up trails had an excellent taste in music. I will for sure return. if you live in the Nassau/Queens area, check this shop out.
