Food was good, hearty, (generally asian) comfort food.
Interesting idea, dishes from countries surrounding Everest. It was a lot of fun watching other diners eating Chinese noodle dishes, while we ate Indian-ish. Best place to bring folks who can’t agree on what to eat.
Modest decor but fresh and tasty food. A new experience for the palate to have Indian flavors in a Nepali blend. The chili chicken mono’s were great and the tandoori chicken was quite a different, busy tasty, experience. The hot pot (stew) was good as well. All in all, it was a great lunch that was reasonably priced.
Had a very good experience here, the server was very attentive and friendly. There was nice heat with the masala dishes that we ordered spicy. Very satisfying if you've never had Nepalese cuisine before. Definitely returning as I found this place a very good value as well.
This place is an absolute gem. I ordered the lamb momo and they were so delicious. delicate and juicy on the inside. and the sauces that came with it! amazing.
and then i had the butter chicken with naan. i have to say first that this chicken is as good as any i have had at tamarind downtown. the naan is actually better than any i have had in the city.
and the staff is wonderful as well. just a lovely experience.
Do not miss this gem of a place when you visit NYC.
-MUST VISIT-
We ordered Vegetarian dishes here - that included Momos, Gobi Manchurian and Thukpa and everything was really delicious.
Momos were fresh and had good flavor. Do note the spice level is high, request to adjust the spice level as per your likings.
Do not miss ordering Wai Wai Sadeku for starters. They taste tangy with good chaat spices.
Recommend this place 10/10.
