When Hunts machine shop in Schenectady and Xlr8 machine shop in Cohoes refused to help me, Cardish said they’d do it no problem. I needed a simple job done. I stupidly snapped a valve guide on a head taking some valve seals off. Bought the guide and had them press out the old one, press in the new one and ream it. They did it for peanuts! Incredible price. And the quality was top notch. The other 2 machine shops that wouldn’t help me said they weren’t gonna do it unless they greedily got to do a full valve job on a head that absolutely didn’t need it. Wanted to charge me a fortune too. Learned my lesson. Ill only ever go through Cardish from here on out. I work for GE and we have them do a ton of work here at the plant. We’ve never had an issue with them.

I've hired Cardish to do several custom machining jobs that no one else could and even if they could the price was off the chart. Cardish did the work fast and reasonably priced. They'll be my first stop from now on.

I had a 5-Port exhaust manifold that was warped, I tried 4 engine shops to try to get it milled, but no one could or would do it, until I found Carter at Cardish Machine Works, he said " no problem, give me a day or so", and true to his word, it was PERFECTLY milled and polished to perfection! What a great, quick and very reasonable job! I am beyond impressed and appreciative for the excellent work performed by Carter and Cardish Machine Works! Bolted right up, performed to specs and couldnt be happier, please use them for your machine and metalwork needs!
