Dr. Schmitt and his staff made my visit very easy. I wasn't looking forward for the procedure. Once it was done, there wasn't any pain or discomfort.

Dr. Christopher D. Schmitt has been taking care of my feet and diabetic foot ulcers since May of 2018 when I seriously injured my left heal that got infected requiring hospitalization. Dr. Schmitt is not only very proficient in his primary specialty of Podiatric Medicine but is also expert in wound care. He is constantly keeping abreast of the latest advances in wound care and his specialty.
His office staff is very courteous and professional in dealing with the patients that come into Southern Star Foot and Ankle. I would highly recommend Dr. Schmitt and his practice for any one who has foot or ankle problems.

I have been an active patient with Dr Scmitt now since 2018. I had an infection in a diabetic ulcer on my foot that I have been trying to treat for years unsuccessfully. Through his recommendations and care, the wound is now fully healed. During that time I broke my other foot in a fall and received care for that as well. Both he and his staff have treated me with professionalism and care. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Schmidt is great. He looked at my foot and knew immediately what one of my problems was right away. He then figured out another issue. He made a huge difference for me. I will go back when needed.
