Scarboroughs Restaurant

We had a wonderful experience this evening. A huge part of our most pleasant experience was our server Kayla. She was not only top notch efficient but extremely personable which really makes a difference when you are having a relaxing evening dining out.
Now to the food.. From the appetizers to my husband's dessert 🍨 everything was perfect! We even ordered food to bring home 🏡 for our teenage son. That food arrived perfectly timed and he is currently enjoying his food with rave reviews! We definitely will return, with our son of course 💙 😉

Had a very nice dinner + beer and wine. Crab cake was especially good. The Lighting and background music were just right. Jen, our server, was super nice and engaging. While we don’t live close by, we’ll definitely be back.

We always seem to forget about Scarboroughs but won't anymore. We stopped in for lunch and will come back again. Good selection of beers on tap and the food we had was very good. The onion soup was a good starter as were the wings. My wife liked the half barbecue half hot sauce option and the burger was very good. Will be back to try out more of the sizable menu.

In town from Texas and went looking for a local bit of deliciousness- and I found it at Scarboroughs!!

Had the blackened salmon salad with lemon dill dressing - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
And then couldn’t say “no” to a slice of carrot cake made by the same baker who’s been making it for 40 years!

My only word of caution…. If you’re used to tea from Texas, skip the iced tea. And if you get it - I suggest the Fiddlehead Aetherium Belgium White as your Plan B!

This was my 5th time here. I’ve never had a disappointing meal or unpleasant server. Alas I’ve never had a meal that’s knocked my socks off and that’s where we get our 4 star rating.

Me and my guests had tried a myriad of dishes off the menu. My favorite is the caper salmon salad (capers are the bomb!) but I’ve also had the bbq nachos, harvest sandwich and Reuben. Their French fries are battered and soooooo yummy. Honestly my favorite food item there.

I like the location because it’s tucked away with a nice outdoor space in nice weather. It’s close to a lot of office in Latham which is why I’ve ended up there so many times.

The waitstaff and bartenders have always been attentive, there when I need them and not when I don’t and pleasant. Prices are reasonable and portions are enough for 2 lunch’s (for me at least, not my husband haha).

Would love to see some funky, spicy, international choices but I get that this is not the place for that necessarily. Will definitely go back!
