Divine Equines, LLC

Trauma. Healing. Nature. Those were the three words I Googled when I found Divine Equines in August of 2021. Ever since then, my soul and spirit have been unleashed in love and boundaries, peace and connection. I have seen myself through the eyes of the horses. I have experienced magic in moments full of grace. I have had a soul-journeyer in Beckie who is wise in her words, her quiet, her strength, her voice, her dance and her music. This gift I have given to myself through the Divine Equines is a sacred space for self-love and discovery. Through this part of my journey of healing I can feel in my soul and my heart - “joy is peace dancing.”

This is a story of chaos to peace.

After 2 years of the global pandemic, and being a sandwich between aging parents and millennials, I found myself longing for something simple to settle my soul.

Mindfulness has served me well to ease tension and mental exhaustion... but I needed more, a "grounding" of sort. I felt stuck, depleted, empty, apathetic... blah. Thanks to Beckie, I discovered the answer!

I spent an hour one Friday morning sitting in a pasture. Just me and Beckie on our lawn chairs. Just being. Soon the horses moseyed over nibbling on clover. Beckie encouraged me to approach them, so I did.

I was transformed back to my childhood in the horse barn. The smells and sounds while I scratched the horses belly was like magical Disney dust had circled me infusing positive energy, love, and fulfillment. I could breathe! I was alive! I was one with the universe again.

Every single time I come to an offering of Divine Equines,' I experience something tangible and profound - and lasting. I seek to attend as many events as I can for this reason. Simply put, the time is worth it. The horses, the barn, the pasture, the earthy scents of all three, all bring an immediate quiet in my body, my very cells relax, and I can be still and receptive - in a way that I don't experience anywhere else. Beckie's spiritual direction background weaves in gently by questions and prompts for us to ponder on our own - and only share if we wish to share. We don't ride the horses for this experience; even better, they bless us with their presence and their acceptance of us, although one may get a nuzzle or two or three from any of the horses with whom we share space.
