Legato Living at Legacy

Erin Render and her team of caregivers and nurses at Legato Living were truly a godsend. We were blessed by their care for our mom who had Alzheimer’s and vascular dementia. Our mom had quickly declined under another facility’s care. The care she received in her time at Legato before her passing was night and day from the care she received at the previous facility.

Legato Living was truly an answer to our prayers. They were a life preserver for our family at a time when it felt like we were drowning with how to best care for our mom. In our first meeting with Erin, I found that she was genuine, honest, smart, and we shared the same goals with aligned values. She just fully understood it in a way that many others don’t in the elder care world. She jumped right in and helped, even going above and beyond to make it work for our family.

The home environment was a comforting setting to our family. The amazing staff and nurses lovingly cared for our mom. They were unbelievably communicative, knew how to care for our family in addition to our mom, and helped connect us to resources. They played a vital role in our mom’s care and served as a critical resource for our family in this mapless journey.

Having a loved one with dementia is incredibly difficult, but Legato Living is proof enough that there are angels living among us here on earth. We are so grateful that we had Legato Living on our family’s team and would highly recommend them to other families with loved ones who have dementia.

March 2022 Update - My mother recently passed away. She was provided with personalized, respectful, loving care each and every day until her death. My mother was able to remain in her home (that is what I would call Legato Living) and receive hospice care when it became necessary. The Legato Staff worked well with the Ascera Care Hospice team and together they helped my mother along on her journey with dignity. I can not say enough great things about our experience at Legato Living. If you are looking for a memory care facility for your loved one, I would highly recommend Legato Living.
Previous Post: Our mother has lived at Legato Living for over two years and we can not say enough good things about her care! This type of residential care is absolutely the closest environment to being able to stay in your own home. If our mother wants to sleep in and have her breakfast later in the morning, this is not a problem. If she wakes up during the night, she can watch a movie and have a snack with the night time staff. This smaller environment provides a great staff/resident ratio. Legato Living is under excellent leadership/administration with Erin and Jill. They are professional, caring, educated and experienced. They provide a great work environment for the staff thus providing our mother with stable care takers because employees are treated fairly and with respect. The staff at Legato Living is loving, caring and reliable. We have experience with another company here in Omaha providing a similar residential care environment. We removed our mother after two and a half years from this facility due to poor ownership/administration. Again, we can not say enough good things about Legato Living!!

Legato Living provides excellent care for my mom. The place and residents are always clean. Her location has been recently remodeled. I love the family type residential atmosphere with limited number of residents which allow the caregivers and owners, Jill and Erin, to know her very well. I get calls or texts whenever there is a concern and photos sent when they are having fun. I don’t think she would receive better care anywhere else!!!!!

Finding Comfort Care Homes was such a blessing. My mom stayed in a large facility owned home for many years. There is no comparison between the care and love she received at Comfort Care Home compared to her previous large home. Comfort Care Home has amazing staff and the ratio is unmatched. My mom was truly loved and cared for. She was clean and well kept and her room and bed were always tidy. She was respected and from the second we moved in we were treated like family. Corporate institutions can offer lots of bells and whistles but we learned through experience that love and care are what is most needed. I would highly recommend Comfort Care Homes.
