CareFirst Urgent Care - Milford

I had a deep cut in my hand and urgently needed medical attention. The front desk was very helpful in getting me checked in and processed so I could get back into one of the rooms. The nurse and doctors were quick to respond and stitched my cut. In total I was only in their care facility for about 1 1/2 hours. For my problem, I couldn’t have received any better care.

From the second we walked in, I was truly surprised at how friendly and kind everyone was. My son ended up having a broken finger and we talked to someone at check in, someone who took his vitals, a nurse practitioner and an x-ray tech and every person was so nice. We were in and out within 30 minutes and it was as good an experience as I could have hoped for. I would choose CareFirst again and again.

My visit on Tuesday October 25 was for a laceration on my right arm that required stitches.

My experience at this specific urgent care was wonderful! The staff, including the nurse practitioners Cassy(?) and McKenzie, we’re professional, highly competent, and surprisingly fun given the situation of stitches.

I had plenty of time to watch the guests in the waiting area make their demands on the staff. The waiting room was full and new guests were not seeking clarity or exercising patience for a staff that was tending to others needs before their own.

My hope for this location is that their staff knows that they are valued and needed.

May the guests seeking help, pause and listen for understanding rather than demanding to be seen immediately putting their individual needs before others.

This staff was patient, empathetic, and caring to all that they encountered. Great work CareFirst Urgent Care Milford!

I would definitely recommend this location to anyone in need of their service. I registered online, got taken in almost immediately and all of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional. I felt like the nurse practitioner listened to my concerns, was very thorough and prescribed a treatment regimen that I believe is already helping. I would not hesitate to go back here again if I needed to do so.
