The guides here are absolutely amazing. My wife and two boys had carley, she was great if you visit the lake George area definitely check them out.

It's easy to find (just look for the refurbished "COOL BUS" fleet out front, with all the rafts strapped to them.) Staff is friendly, and after your safety lesson and equipment check, you will feel confident that even if you have never whitewater rafted before, you WILL know what to do on your trip. The guides who literally guide your shared raft down the river make you feel safe while at the same time, will steer you into the next rapid, then back out again, to make sure you get your money's worth, and mouth full of water-as well as your hair, clothing and shoes. Know that you WILL be soaking wet, from head to toe, by the time you are finished with your wet and wild tour. Check the website and read ALL the fine print to make sure you are prepared in every way. Save a little money (keep it in the car, as it WILL be swept down the river if you have it with you on the tour,) as there are photos of you and your group taken during the ride, your face is guaranteed to be better than any log flume ride you've been on. There are shirts, mugs, handcrafted jewelry, etc. to buy as well. Don't forget to hold your breath, and have fun on this unique experience, then you can check it off your bucket list, thanks to Wild Waters Outdoor Adventures!

This was our first time rafting and we all had so much fun. We came with a large group of 20 and were split into 3 rafts. All of our guides were great, from the gearing up, to our safety talk on the bus all the way to the very end. Being first timers we had a couple of nervous people. Our guide Theo was so good at putting us all at ease. He was so enthusiastic and personable. Made the entire experience great! The river itself was very gentle. There were a few spots where we had some rougher rapids but it was perfect for us. Everyone especially enjoyed jumping into the river for a swim! The weather was overcast and drizzly and we were all initially bummed but it worked out really well. Turns out rafting is a perfect rainy day activity! 10/10 would return and recommend!

This was AWESOME. It was rainy and cold the morning we were scheduled to go, and we were all hesitant about doing this in the conditions, to say the least. We bulled through and went, and were so glad.

They had wet suit jackets and over jackets, and surprisingly enough, the river was warmer than the air. The rapids were so fun and just the right level of difficult to make it a “wild” experience for people like us who are not athletic, nor have experience.

Our tour guide, Izzy, was hysterical and knowledgeable. It was such a fun time, and I 100% encourage people to do this!

We went on the shorter tour of the Sacandaga river, and we had Carly and Izzy as our guides! Carly has an incredible sense of humor and was very knowledgeable for the trip, and Izzy was helpful while also lighthearted during the safety debriefing, a perfect balance to keep interest while also delivering vital information.
I would definitely go with this company again! Highly considering trying out the 17 mile Hudson tour sometime later on. 10/10!
