Volare Helicopters

Spring 2022, we were looking at a property which was inaccessible as of current. Needed a helicopter to scope it out beyond google earth. Emailed Tyler, best idea ever. He took us directly, around the area completely, then much to our surprise put us down right on top, after scoping any possible obstructions. We could walk around and get the best sense of the property from above. Not a helicopter pilot, but am a private pilot, Tyler was exceptional in explaining the safety and protocols of the entire excursion. Would recommend to all! Have the perfect place for a helipad too. Thanks again Tyler.

Really enjoyed our sightseeing flight over the Catalina Foothills with Tyler. The whole experience was very polished and professional. Great views from every seat - Sabino Canyon from the air was spectacular. Thanks for an excellent trip.

Volare Helicopters is not only a highly professional and safe environment, but also an incredibly fun and enjoyable experience. My fiance has always had the dream of learning to fly a helicopter and Tyler and Tasha made it a reality. With a thorough safety instruction and clear expectations, my fiance was piloting with minimal assistance almost immediately (with the instructor keeping a close hand on the redundant controls of course). I was even invited to ride along in the back to watch!
Not only was the equipment very well maintained, but our instructor Tyler was an extremely patient and kind teacher; his calm demeanor and clear instructions did away with any anxiety either of us felt. I could not imagine a more comfortable and healthy learning environment.
They also offer tours around the same area we trained which are beautiful and expansive. During the training we were even able to fly over my parents house who snapped a photo of her piloting!
If you want to learn to pilot a helicopter and are in the Tucson/Pheonix area, there is no better instructor than Tyler Sturges. Even if you have never been in a helicopter (which we had not), Tyler will make you comfortable, safe, and enjoy the process. This is an experience neither of us will ever forget!

My wife surprised me with the Boneyard tour and it was awesome. The whole experience was great, from the time we arrived until when we landed. Paco was our pilot and he was very professional and knowledgeable about the area, super chill too. The views of the Boneyard were amazing but the entire flight was incredible as well. Highly recommend! 💪

I did an intro flight with Tyler and Tasha and it was an incredible experience! Tasha is such a great host and Tyler is an amazing flight instructor. He gave me full control of the helicopter in the air and even left some time to teach me how to hover. Definitely recommend this team for your first helicopter flight! Can't wait to learn more from Tyler!
