Lake George Distilling Company

I'm Albany-born and raised, but now live in Virginia. I come back to the Capitol District every year to visit and had the amazing luck to run across Lake George Distillery Co at the Troy Farmers Market. Sampled a few of what they had at their stand and every one I tried was smooth and delicious. I bought a bottle of their Straight Bourbon Whiskey and a bottle of their Maple Infused Bourbon. Now that I'm staring at the last finger of my LGDC Straight Bourbon Whiskey, I'm sitting here wishing I had bought three bottles. It's that good. I wish the Virginia ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) stores here carried it!

The owner was very nice explained how they use nothing but local grains and provided some delicious samples.
High quality liquor for sure.
Bourbon was excellent and the apple pie moonshine will have you coming back for more incredible taste well done.

Do it. If you like whiskey do not miss this on your Lake George vacation. The staff is friendly and the whiskey is great, need I say more?

Free tasting + great moonshine + helpful, friendly, and informative owner = so glad we stopped by! The cinnamon was the smoothest I've ever tasted - great cinnamon flavor without being too overpowering. The smoked was a unique flavor that I haven't seen at any other distillery. And the apple pie was just delicious.

They have amazing customer service and the cinnamon whiskey and apple pie moonshine were really good. Happy we stopped by!
