This RV park and county park was really a gem. The price was terrific (around $33/night) and the facilities were clean and well-kept. The bathroom looks to be new inside. The sites are arranged in pods with the outer sites having the more ideal spots. There is construction on about 5 of the pods but it is separated from the rest of the pods and does not really interfere. There are ample places to ride bikes and walk or jog. Dogs are only allowed in the campground, not the rest of the park. The swimming pool was only open Wednesday-Sunday when we were there in March.

Very nice county RV park with good amenities. Only about half the park is currently open with the rest of it currently under renovation.

Besides that are currently available are nice, mostly flat, asphalt sites, many with some tree covering.

Have a nice pool and clubhouse, nice clean showers, and updated laundry facilities.

The location was pretty much just what we were looking for; fairly central access to Miami area and the Everglades.

Since we were having trouble finding other accommodations down in the Keys, we used this as a jumping-off point to get down to the Keys. However it is a pretty long drive from this campground to Key West (over four hours for us with a few stops).

With it's location and amenities, the weekly and monthly rental rates make this campground a good deal, in my opinion.

We'll definitely come back here again.

Awesome campground. Clean bathhouse, grounds well kept, new pavement and reasonable. The front desk was friendly and professional. They saved my pressure regulator I had accidentally left behind and returned it to me when I traveled back through 2 weeks later!

Nice place great for little trips around, friendly staff and neighbors. A couple of walking trails and many farm markets around. Good leveled spots but no cable or internet. Pool, and plenty of other activities. Good spot to stop and good rates.

This review is specifically for the local park, as it is one of my favorite parks to go to.

This park is excellent for kids and teens to play in, as there is lots of open space to play sports in and a small playground area as well.

Anyone can enjoy a nice walk through the variety of trails available, or perhaps ride a bike instead. If you just want to hang out in the outdoors, or perhaps you want to host a small event, there is small huts that provide shade from the sun.

Additionally, this is a good place to start learning how to drive, as people usually drive quite slow here and there is a few small and empty parking lots.

There is so much to do in this large and expansive park, so I recommend coming by and seeing it for yourself.
