    Great service by very kind people. Whenever I visit this store i’m greeted with a warm welcome and workers are always willing to help if you have questions. Recently I worked with Erich and he was great - helping me find and order some specialty screws which came in less than a week.

    This is the best store ever. Not only do they have everything you could ever need, they are also the nicest family owned business that I have ever known about. You crazy not to get your hardware needs at Berger hardware

    I’ve been a customer of Berger Hardware for over 30 years. They are a throwback to a time when customer service and satisfaction were important. They have a knowledgeable and helpful staff. Many of the faces have remained constant which must say a lot about them as employers. They stock 100x what a big box offers in 100th the square footage. They’re the best!

    Have been a patron since moving to the area a few years ago and being very honest I can say that there isn't a thing you could need that they don't have. I'm not exaggerating either. How about motor brushes for an old Porter-Cable drill? Berger had em!

    I needed a mortar product and Berger Hardware in Hawthorne was one of only two stores to have it in stock near me

    (No the big two did not have it , and it is nice to support the little guys anyway.)
    Berger has its own parking lot uoon entry we asked where the item was. The young man whom we asked did notbknow where the item was, but within moments a scond employee was paged and led us directly to the item.
    The store is part old fashioned- knowledgeable workers able to give advice- and also modern- it carries traditional hardware and also the seasonal and convenience items.
