Colima's Mexican Restaurant

This review is 20+ years in the making. I loved eating at this place while I was in The Corps. I never thought I would be back however, real life is stranger than fiction. I was glad to find out that the food over those years has not changed at all. Still as delicious as it was then as it is today. A tremendous place to eat.

The food is delicious and authentic. Service was excellent! It's definitely a must try.
Bathrooms were not great and could use a really great scrub down. But there was soap, paper towels and toilet paper. So it's hard to complain.

So, I've been coming here for many, many years. Anytime I find myself anywhere near Oceanside or San Diego, I plan a trip to come to Colima's. It has always been consistent and delicious. I fell in love with the shrimp tacos, but I've tried the California burrito, also amazing, and my kids all love the Carne Asada. My husband loves carnitas, and says they're the best. This is a family favorite. The pricing is completely fair, and everyone there is so friendly and great!

Delicious and quick. California burrito and Chili Relleno burrito. They don't remove the seeds from the chili which makes it spicy. Extra large burritos that could easily feed two people. The melon drink was sweet and refreshing.

fresh shrimp cocktails, ehhh I'm not a huge fan of yellow corn tortillas for their tacos ( just a preference) but my kids enjoy them alot.
The menu is endless ( will update soon hopefully) the customer service is great. I really like their tortas they are just like the Burritos lol
