St. Andrew's Episcopal Church

Performed in a concert, so I can't say much about their "regular hours".

This is a very welcoming community that is open to everyone. No pressure to do anything. There are activities for kids during Sunday 10am services and if you want something more meditative and music based, the Taize service on Sunday evenings is beautiful.

Been to many churches all over the country and can tell you St. Andrews is different. A lot of energy here. Classic without the attitude. Church has liberals and conservatives, but everyone leaves their political and social convictions at the doorstep. Yes dogs and cats can really get along here. Great youth program. One of the largest in Seattle. They do fun stuff and the kids love it. The church is stable with a fantastic clergy and support staff. They have the regular 8:00am and 10:00 service geared more toward family and those who like to sing. Also something different in a Taize' service at 6:00pm on Sunday. Very popular with young adults and those who want a spiritualist experience. Guitar and chants mixed with prayer. This church has something for everyone. No hassles or social order. Just great welcoming people who are glad you are there regardless of age, ethnicity, or marital status. The church fully supports marriage equality for ALL of God's children and welcomes LGBT with open arms. Check St. Andrews out. Unlike some churches, no one will follow you home or hassle you unless you ask to be contacted.

I have attended St. Andrew's for many years. We have participated in the children's programs and currenly our son is a member of the Senior High Youth Group. This is a very warm and welcoming community. There are many activities to choose from. You can be involved on the level that is comfortable for you. Come visit us.
