Captain Jim is the man! When we got to the dock, he already had white bait, pin fish, and grunt in the bait well. The rods were rigged and ready to go. Shimano and Diawa equipment were in great shape.

He let us know in advance that the bite was off due to the super moon, but he would try to put us on fish. We limited out on big sea trout in the first 30 minutes, and then moved on to catch redfish and snook. The bite was slow but captain Jim continuously put us in front of big snook, tarpon, and red fish.

We ended the day with 9 trout, 2 snook, 1 redfish, 1 gagged grouper, and Captain Jim wasn’t satisfied with the results. If that doesn’t convince you to book with him, I don’t know what will. He will put you on fish!

We came down to visit friends in Dunedin and wanted to treat them to a morning of fishing. We booked a 4 hour in-shore trip with Captain Jim. Beautiful, spacious boat with ample room for 4 of us to fish. Within 10 minutes Jim had us at the first of several spots and we were catching fish!! We found Jim to be knowledgeable, professional and very personable and he worked hard to keep our hooks baited and in the water. We caught 7 different species and everyone caught fish. It was a great experience and we highly recommend Captain Jim!

This salt water fishing trip was a blast for our family! We took our 8 and 10 year old boys. They love fishing but had never done salt water fishing before. We caught 7 different species of fish! Captain Jim was awesome with our boys, had our lines baited the whole time and we all had poles constantly in our hands. If the fish weren’t biting in a certain spot, he wasted no time before moving onto the next location. The boat was clean and a smooth quick ride. I get sea sick typically but didn’t feel nauseous at all on his boat. We can’t wait to book another trip with Captain Jim again! Also note- my husband has been on many fishing trips and said this is his favorite!

Captain Jim was spectacular! We caught tons of fish today. I’m already planning on taking my dad out for a trip with him in the Spring.

We went fishing with Capt. Jim in December and had a great time! I took my wife, mother in law and an out of state friend. We had a blast; Capt. Jim was patient and shared his extensive knowledge of the area and seemed to know right were the fish were. The trip was first class; he picked us up on time after working early to load up on live bait and the action never stopped. After a great half day, Jim cleaned all of our fish and filled our cooler with ice for the ride home. Can't wait for our next trip with Capt. Jim!
