Tootsie's Diner

First time here for me. This place reminds me of southern restaurants, friendly, good food and service that was good but definitely not hurried.The chicken and waffles was soooo good. The apple and cinnamon topping was delicious. I'll definitely be back!

Local breakfast diner. It's small but worth the wait. Definitely some options you won't find elsewhere. Was a great find and will definitely stop back soon. We were there before 9:00 am on a Saturday. It started to fill up very soon after.

Hustle and bustle at this great spot. Occassionally there is a wait for table, but any wait is worth it. If Cinnamon roll pancakes are on special, an awesome choice. Kudos to the ownership and staff for continuing to serve up great food in a family atmosphere. Enjoy!

The food is well made. It's not super flashy, but I don't think anyone is coming here expecting caviar and fine dining. The staff have always been kind enough to provide an unflinchingly welcoming atmosphere. I also spoke to a waitress there, who told me that she was allowed to stay there by her bosses when her only other option was going to be staying on the streets. This is the kind of business that we need more of.
