Local Barber shop, always accommodating, friendly, price could be competitive, if you walk in last minute still caters to your hair cut.

Mark is the quintessential Barber that can easily transpose professions as a bartender with his Aussie humor and life lessons. Drive by his storefront to get a daily dose of his whimsical sidewalk signs that would have you laugh out loud. Guy walks into a barber shop.. ..and says “Chuck Wood here?” Barber says “no we cut hair.”

Mark the barber was personable, and attentive to what I desired as far as length and style. Checked in with me a few times to make sure he was giving me what I wanted. When I arrived he was cutting the hair of a ninety year old gentleman. Mark's joking manner was well received.

The shop itself is old (50 years old this year), and not much personality. Not a big deal to me. The shaver he used initially probably needed to be sharpened as it pulled a touch on my hair, but it was tolerable.

I travel with my job getting barber shop haircuts throughout the Northeast. Won't hesitate to come back here should I need a haircut when traveling in the Peekskill area.

Took my son here for a haircut and was pleased with the experience. The barber made my son feel at home and gave him a great haircut.

I will return in a couple of months. It's great have a good barber so close to home.
