I always have a wonderful time in Big Bear and this cabin was so perfect for the family!! We will definitely be booking again!!

Perfect cabin for a big group. Plenty of space. Bunk bed room is adorable. Well stocked kitchen, which is always a plus. Host gifted wine...need we say more ;) we stayed November 20-23, 2022

A perfect weekend getaway home for a girls’ trip. We truly enjoyed staying in the beautiful well appointed home this fall. It had lots of great amenities but we really enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen and eating on the balcony with the million dollar view. We could have just stayed in all weekend and enjoyed the home and the company but we did venture out to quaint Big Bear Village one morning where we did a little shopping and dining. A few of us even took in a few local hikes, walking distance from the home. The specious, yet cozy, home was the perfect environment for us to relive old memories and make new ones. We highly recommend and would definitely book again without hesitation!

What a great time we had at A Joyful Bear. Our getaway weekend from Los Angeles with a group of friends was made that much better by the beautiful and spacious accommodations. The attention to detail throughout the home was perfect. Our mornings started with a warm latte from the Breville pro barista machine. What a treat! We were then off to the hiking trails just steps from the home. As evening approached our foodie friends prepared some delicious meals as they were able find everything they needed in the gourmet kitchen. Big Bear is always a favorite of this group and we will be back to A Joyful Bear for future getaways.

Had the most amazing stay here with my family this past summer. The attention to detail throughout the whole place is next level. The kids had so much fun in the room with the bunk beds. It's so spacious and was ideal for them and all their friends. The whole place has all the amenities you can think of and then some. Easy access to some incredible hikes and beautiful views out the back. I would recommend this to any family or friend and hope to stay here again!!!
