Bear Creek Nursing Center

A wonderful place for my Dad in his last days. Bear Creek was very gentle to my Dads needs and to our needs. It was obvious that Dad was in his final days ... and Bear Creek was gentle, caring, understanding, and very communicative with us. Dad needed care, and was in a lot of pain. Bear Creek was sensitive to the pain, yet persistent that the pain needed attention, and as gentle as they could be yet very clear they needed to treat the problem despite Dads protests. Excellent staff and excellent nursing care (Toby). It changed my attitude toward nursing/rehab care for the positive!!! I highly recommend this facility. Plus a great location and, and incredibly clean. Plus listening to the other residents shout out their special requests at mealtime ... such as PBJ or grilled cheese ... and the staff responding as if they knew each and every resident and their meal desires ... warmed my heart!! They truly care about each and every resident!!

Everyone cares at Bear Creek! My dad had the best care there. The Admissions Director, Justin was so knowledgeable and kind as our first point of contact. He remained a wonderful resource throughout our stay. The kindness kept going...Kim, the Resident Coordinator was a great support in a time of need. The nurses were so great we brought them a cookie tray to thank them for New Year's...and a special shout out to Nurses Aide, Cindy. What a wonderful young woman as she was always on point and made the room look so nice!

So much gratitude to Justin and the team here at Bear Creek for helping in getting mom closer to home. I can't begin to explain the challenging situation we had faced getting her moved and he worked extremely hard to get it done. And so far, the staff has been so very nice, they've all gone out of the way to make sure mom has been comfortable.

I have taken a tour of this place while looking for a good home for my amazing mother. This is, in my opinion one of the best places in the area. Its very clean and I was super impressed that the administration knows the residents by name and greated everyone when walking through the halls. I would highly recommend Bare Creek to other families.
