Electric Shaver Shop

I have a shaver given to me by my father and the battery has worn down twice over the last decades, the second time in the last year. Both times I have brought it to Electric Shaver Shop to be replaced, and both times I have been very pleased to have done so. Old school businesses like this, where they not only know what to do, but also have the parts on stock to replace the battery basically on the spot (half-hour wait--soldering is involved, so fair) are a real treasure of LA, and the kind of thing you don't just find anywhere--I know, cause I came back here from abroad because I was having trouble finding a similar place!

I have been going to this shop for at least fifteen years and can say this: come here if you are looking for good quality shavers and scissors, accessories. The Electric Shaver Shop is definitely not attractive outside or inside, and the owner is not the most social. However, he will give you a good product and good advice if you ask. The prices are average and fair, especially considering he runs a fairly small business. He repairs equipment and will sharpen cutlery.

This shop is the only place I've found in the greater LA area that can service my old Braun electric shaver. He's replaced the re-chargeable battery that I was told by another shop was not replaceable. I just had him replace the battery again after at least 5 years and replace the cutting head. Although the owner isn't the most personable person, his work is top notch and reasonably priced and that's what counts.
