I met Dr Stoner unplanned when I was rushed into the ER by ambulance with premature rupture of membranes and bleeding--later to be confirmed placenta abruptio. Scared, confused and in pain, I could not have been handled by a more professional, competent and attentive physician. From the time I was whisked into labor and delivery to the last second I was prepped for OR, she (together with other staff members on duty) constantly reassured and kept me calm at such a critical moment.
Her professionalism, knowledge and passion for what she does was demonstrated in our few minutes of interaction.
My husband will never forget that she later came up to check on us a few days post delivery. She saved my daughter's life, and for that she remains in my heart always.
