Soft and flat surface, good for long runs. Beautiful views.

This Delaware Canal State Park access with parking is the closest to New Hope. There is a pedestrian bridge from the parking to the towpath. Once you get a bit away from Route 202, the canal is quiet with no big roads nearby. Bike, run or walk south into New Hope or North to Virginia Forrest Recreation Area, with restrooms, parking and picnic tables.

This access is missing on the official DCNR state park map.
