  These mountains were born to be climbed. Posing as a challenge to perhaps some more serious hikers, this destination is a must if you are looking for adventure. Long trails lead you to beautiful lookouts that survey the valley. An up close and personal experience with nature is provided on this route. Fantastic trails and great fun! We rate this trail hard.

  Not much shade, but a nice hike early morning or late afternoon. A good secluded escape from the city, but close enough to not be a huge commitment.
  
  Saw a bunch of animals too. Nice for a nature nerd like me. Interesting to see the remaining fire damage, but nice to see plants starting to grow back already.
  
  The remains of a deer I came across made the "Dangerous Animals" warning sign a bit more heed-able lol.

  The perfect balance of intensity and distance for hiking. There are multiple vantage points to appreciate the valley that surrounds them. Definitely a must for anyone who enjoys exercising or exploring new hiking trails!
