Edgewater Dog Park

It is only missing water, there is a bowl but nowhere to fill it up inside the park. I love this place tho.

The mulch here is better for my dog than the concrete at Montrose. He always hurts himself playing there.

This dog park is less than a year old. It opened in July 2017. It is close enough to walk to from our house. It is a good size with plenty of room to run. There are benches for pet owners to sit on and trees to provide shade on hot sunny days. The grass which was here initially is no more. The wet spring conditions and regular dog traffic created a muddy mess. That has been corrected with wood chips over most of the park. My dog doesn't seem to mind. He still runs here and loves the park. They have dog bowls but no water supply yet. I heard rumors that they are trying to resolve that. I expect this park will continue to get better over time.

Gracie has a sensitive paw after being hit by a car, this all-grass park is a life-saver with the nicest dogs!

My doggo loves going off-leash in this dog run! She drags me there every morning now. It's got a nice, complete, high fence with a double gated entrance. It's long enough for her to get a good run in and throw a ball. There are a few trees for sniffing and a community water bowl.
