The first time one enters the building on the Southwest corner of August and Harlem, you can feel the peace. After a bit of investigation I found that the Self Realization Fellowship Lessons teach one the daily practice of deep, silent yoga meditation and how to harvest "the peace that passes all understanding", not by mere belief, but because the body and mind become very quiet inside. Of course the Sunday morning group meditations and reading services, as well as the social events throughout the year have kept me coming back every week. Great people, something that is real and stable in this crazy world.
