  Super cool and unique experience. Do not take small children to the dig site, the park connected is fine for them. This is a legit place to help find pieces of real bones and fossils. You must be able to follow instructions and be mindful of what you are doing. Helpful staff and a great experience. My son(age 9) and I each found things to be collected for the Smithsonian. If you find something, it will be bagged and your name will be attached as a founder. First Saturday every month. Read website ahead.

  Where else can you look for real Dino bones! Watch for blue green items on the ground. Good for kids but the adults really look!

  Great staff, full of knowledge. 4 yr old son was disappointed he didn’t get to dig but had fun trying to figure out if the rocks he picked up were anything significant. An older kid found a fossil while we were there and received a certificate for it which was cool. We will be going back when my son is a little older.
