  The Church of The Atonement is truly a wonderful group of caring, loving, spirit filled sisters and brothers in The Lord who truly do their best to demonstrate Christ's love to all. The music is awesome. The fantastic richness of not only the choir, but the musicians and the congregational singing- is awesome!! The standard of preaching from Pastor Curt Young, Pastor Fred Carr, Seth and others who have provided teaching is amazing! The presence of the HOLY SPIRIT and the depth of God's wisdom is almost palpable every Sunday! The work of the church is carried out in many arenas in our community from volunteering for Rebuilding together in Montgomery County, to after school Bible Clubs at a local elementary school, to serving breakfast at various shelters on a regular basis. If you desire to find a place to rest your weary soul and find family who will stand by you- come to The Church of The Atonement in Silver Spring, MD - we always have room for more!

  Great church! Been going for about a year. Great community support, welcoming atmosphere, & group of strong/dependable believers.

  Great church. Small enough to know just about everyone yet big enough to have diverse programs. If you're looking for some good solid biblical preaching and being with a group of people who really care about each other, this is the place.
  
  And they just remodeled the church. Parking is actually around back, but that's now considered the front of the church.
