  West hills karate academy is by far a top tier dojo the instructors are amazing as senpais Ashkon, kyanna, and Dinna teach the classes and are all phenomenal. I love the fact that the dojo is family run, so it provides that family security kind of feeling and it helps with having a welcoming vibe to the dojo. The chief instructor Sensei Bruce Hojati is an outstanding sensei and has excellent technique that he teaches his students. I have loved training at the dojo as I have learned so much that has added to my arsenal of self defense techniques and I am no doubt 100% better than I was before I had trained there. Overall this place is an excellent choice of dojo as the instruction is brilliant, the family environment makes it welcoming, and the technique itself is amazing and is something that is hard to come by due to its unique way.

  West Hills Karate Academy is one of the truly most authentic Dojo's in the Valley.
  
  They are family operated and friendly. They are passionate about the success of their students and Shihan Hojati takes special care to make sure each member of the academy is catered to with the utmost attention.
  
  As for true knowledge of Karate and Japanese Martial arts, Shihan Hojati is extremely versed in It's traditions and origins and the principles of practice and techniques.
  
  If you are looking for an all around dojo with the credibility and knowledge to train you in REAL Japanese Karate and specifically the Shotokan Style, you owe it to yourself to give them a visit!
