  Ani Dermenjian was reputed to be a superb realtor. In a terribly difficult context, she proved to be vastly more - her unceasing efforts and ultimate achievements selling our home of 25 years were spectacular. She went far beyond anything one could rationally expect in every aspect of her work.  She was not just supremely capable and professionally excellent, she compassionately rose above the worst obstacles. She simply amazed us as much as she benefited us. Ani single-handedly rescued a disaster-in-progress, and under extreme time pressure transformed a scene of ruin and dilapidation into a much coveted property - that then sold at a crucial and wonderful price in just 5 days on the market. To achieve this, however, first required Ani's long, arduous and unwavering effort for month upon month. Throughout all she displayed persistence and patience and every facet of professional excellence; of a deep and wide attainment of real estate artistry and craft. Her decades of experience and passionate learning reach a pinnacle in her unmatched understanding of the amazingly nuanced and intricate Malibu property market.  To understand the truths of these accolades, I must explain the scope of the problems that Ani surmounted. Ani had to work virtually alone. Her sellers were elderly, disabled, at great geographical distance, and unable to provide any true help. She had to became the sole facilitator and foreman of an imposing property resurrection, before any sales focus could even exist.  She was also first faced, however, with delicately facilitating removal of a tenant unable to purchase the property as was long intended, who had desperately delayed vacating again and again. While needing to be quite firm, she also had to prevent any futile efforts of legal interference and to manage reactions of disappointment with great kindness. This demanded a rare ability of interpersonal artistry - artistry Ani displayed in easy abundance in abundance as she succeeded completely where all others had failed. Then, a bridge loan essential to pay for all repairs was disastrously derailed, ending repair as time and options rapidly disappeared. Great worry then was transformed into rescue funding through Ani’s efforts alone, through select funding experts among innumerable helpers Ani sustained throughout all her years of experience.  Ani then oversaw extensive repairs throughout almost every component of the house and it’s property. She assured it presented as near-new and could reach a demanding price most considered impossible. Here Ani’s knowledge of all facets of property value and improvement provided crucial insights and predictive understanding, that enabled her to foresee potential problems and uncannily enact all optimal measures.  She not only contained problems, but more importantly Ani enabled separation of the trivial from the truly important to allocate effort and thus was repeatedly able to save very crucial time (due to severe IRS time constraints, delays could easily have destroyed all profit). Ani ensured that every aspect of the project throughout the restorations, the home's presentation and sale, went very rapidly, and perfectly. While this entailed constant pressure, Ani displayed nothing of dismay. This long description was motivated not only by deep desire that the reader understand these accolades are accurate, but especially understands their validity is borne of very extensive serial experiences in stages of the sale's transformations. Experiences from a tremendous, unique effort, and it's hard gained but truly marvelous outcome - all because of this single person. Nothing could have been done more superbly. Perhaps most important, all these attributes exist together in someone intensely caring and spiritually grounded, in someone who always was a joy to interact with - no matter how onerous the circumstances became.  I hope I have conveyed that a unique jewel of property mastery exists to help those in need of a realtor.  Ani was quite simply a Godsend.

  I have worked with Ani Dermienjian for over 25 years. I have shared several listings with her in the past because she works so hard and is so willing to do the best for her clients. Her clients love working with her due to her diligence and attention to detail. Ani Dermenjian is a great asset to the Malibu Real Estate community.

  I've gotten to know Ani very well in the past couple years while working with her on the same non-profit board in our neighborhood. Ani Dermenjian is not just a diamond in the rough - she is a diamond mine in the rough. When I think Ani I think - integrity, class, kind hearted, professional, smart - just a few things that come to mind. I would recommend Ani to anybody who needed to buy or sell a house. I've never met a person to say a bad word about her. This is because Ani is real. She is truly one of the most genuine people I have ever met and have had the pleasure of seeing in action. Ani is the calm in the storm. She is a stellar human being. Anybody would be lucky to have her represent them.

  Ani is one of the most trustworthy, honest, and hardworking people I have ever met. She is so well respected in the Malibu community and liked by all. Since 2000, she has led the Malibu Veterans Day Public Ceremony, in conjunction with the City of Malibu, Pepperdine University, the Malibu Chamber of Commerce, and local businesses to honor our nation's veterans. She is hardworking, loyal to her clients, and always goes the extra mile -- always in the best interest of her clients. Those who know her and have worked with her know this and love her for it.
