Penn Steak & Fries

Best cheesesteaks and French fries in the area and the owners are very nice

One of the best places in the area to grab a meal. Fantastic cheese steaks, hoagies, burgers, wings, fries, and everything else! The owners strive to come up with new food dishes, while still keeping some of the classics. I have been eating at Penn Steak for longer than I can remember (15+ years?). Every time I drop by, the owners always says "hey, check this out!", and excitedly explains his newly created hand-crafted sauce, a type of secret breading, or even a twist on a typical food. It is well worth the trip into the Coventry Mall to eat here!

After trying out this place three different times, I'd say that the burgers are fantastic. Food is fresh and made to order. The owner creates his own sauce and is not afraid to show it off. Experimental sauces are being made, but if you don't mind being a food tester and have no allergies, tell him to surprise me and have a go. Was going to take a pic of the burger, but it tasted so good, sorry. My only con is the fish and chips. It looked like popcorn chicken but with fish. It made me a bit sad for I know what fish and chips looks like. Other than that, bring cash...it's worth it! Cheers.

The Food is awesome! The owner is very passionate and you can tell he loves his business. He’s always trying new items on his menu and talking about them.
