We have been seeing Dr Gels and Owe for over a year with no complaints until recently. They are typically very competent and have great bedside manners. However when I found out I was pregnant, I was told to come back immediately after the birth (which I did, straight from the hospital after a c-section-in tons of pain) to get my shot serum remade. Someone dropped the ball and didn’t make it or bill it until 3 months later into a new year. This left me with a $1200 bill and no way to finish the shots that I’m being billed for. After talking to the office staff ( who seemed to ignore the issue) at least 5 times, I finally made an appointment to talk to the dr and have still not heard anything back in weeks. This is not a respectable way to do business. They should be taking responsibility for their mess up. It’s a shame because until now they were my favorite practice.
Update: I got a call from a very knowledgeable and helpful office manager who was gracious and told me Dr Gells was upset about what happened and is going to fix the whole thing. I am back on my shots! And grateful to have an honest and outstanding practice to go to.
Dr. Gels was wonderful treating my 6 year old son. Spent plenty of time listening to our history, explaining tests, creating a plan for us and making the visit worthwhile. He did not try to do unnecessary treatment, and really helped us any way he could. Very down to earth, intelligent and practical.
Very pleased with our visit to Dr. Gels. He took the time to go over past test results from another office, reviewed the plan we have in place and made suggestions on how to move forward. We go back in a few weeks for updated testing and I am hopeful our future experience(s) is / are just as wonderful as our first!
My experience with Annapolis Allergy and Asthma was so pleasant. From the receptionist upon arrival, to the nurse, and the PA. I saw Owe Reichmann. He really took the time to listen to my story, and things I've experienced with my asthma, and allergies. I left feeling comfortable, and confident with what he recommend for my treatment. Very pleased with the office, and staff. Thanks so much team.
