Good views and obvious trails. Lots of poison oak, but easy to avoid. Trails of various lengths and difficulties, perfect for any experience level
Great views of the city and the bay, and good hiking trails. The summit is marred by a collection of radio masts and gear that ruin the natural beauty without any of the elegance of the Sutro Tower. If you do the Summit Loop Trail, do it counterclockwise so you don't end up with an uphill stretch right at the end of the walk.
Great place to hike. Wasn't too bad for the kids. The view is incredible. Bathrooms were clean. 6$ to park
Quiet wooded area with a couple trails of varying difficulty. Parking has recently went from donation to $6 for vehicles, unless senior or disabled. A large temperature differential with the surrounding lowlands, so don't neglect to dress warmly even in summer!

Visible for miles, the Park's namesake summit is an iconic part of the peninsula's horizon. The 1,314'-high peak can be reached by foot or by vehicle, and visitors enjoy sweeping 360° panoramic views of the entire Bay Area.
The park has great introductory trails, with a mixture of terrain—fire roads, singletracks, and some steeper ridges. On a clear day, there are pretty spectacular panoramic views. On one side of the mountain, you can see the southern part of the bay, and on the other side, you might be able to see ...
