  i wanted to give a shout out to the guys at EAST OF MAUI board shop Annapolis Mark Bandy and Mark Saunders ...top notch very service oriented and very knowledgeable easy going "chill dudes" ..they hooked me up with a SUP, Paddle,Flotation device and a leash ..all at short notice ..the board tracked well and pretty quick for an all around great ride...Want some fun or try a SUP go see these guys not to mention a very complete well stocked board shop retail store for all of your water sport fun and fashion and wet suits

  The only real surf shop outside of the beach. Locally owned and operated. Both owners work there daily and are active in the water sports and snowboard community.

  This is a very friendly, local place--generally, if you call or drop in, you will be interacting with one of the owners (although you'd never know it, they are both very down to earth). I'm forever grateful to them for introducing me to paddleboarding (I got an individual lesson) and selling me my first board (which was used an reasonably priced). I'm now a total addict and paddle year-round. Good selection of gear, although a little on the pricey side. I buy some stuff there and some stuff off Amazon. It can be worth it to purchase stuff from them because of convenience, great customer service--they will happily answer all of your questions and make solid recommendations--and because this is a business worth supporting! Check it out.

  I don't tend to review places much, but the experience I had at East of Maui today is worthy. I went out looking for a new snowboarding jacket and ended up in another small local shop, they ended up pointing me over to East of Maui. You know you are going somewhere worthwhile when their competition recommends them. The staff was incredibly helpful and down to earth, I felt no pressure at all. And the prices were very reasonable. I do my share of online shopping but this is one local shop I will be using from here on out! Thanks!
