Plenty of spaces before 11am. Go to the west lot for tables and it is usually half empty.

Wonderful beach, it's big, clean and the dunes are fun to climb. This beach can get very crowded so I prefer to visit late in the season or during the week. Holidays, forget about it, way too crowded. I found the crowd to be polite and respectful. Alcohol is prohibited but I saw plenty of discreet drinkers

Went for a meteor shower and still found that parking was rather easy as well as finding a chunk of beach for ourselves. Really nice break from the city, will defintely be back. Parking is $12 but worth it if you're looking to spend the day.

Fun, people can bring food,and no alcohol drinks, tents, umbrellas, volleyball nets, $12 parking all day til 11pm. Lifeguards leave at 7pm and ask everyone to get out of the water , but you can jump back in 20m after they leave but you're on your own.
