    Discovered the trail while hiking the PCT. From this trailhead it looks like most of the trail is downhill. I plan to return and explore the trail to it southern terminus. Looks like fun, a great exploration. Before I go I will plan my trip by reviewing information and maps which can be aquired from the big pines ranger station. The station has a Google Maps page. Phone ahead - closed I think on Tuesday and Wednesday.
